A combination of acrobatic skills and classic dance techniques. Dancers focus on strength, balance, flexibility, endurance, and the integration of acrobatic skills within dance. A variety of skills are incorporated into this class such as cartwheels, back-bends, handstands, etc. (Concurrent enrollment in a technical dance class is highly recommended.)
Emphasizes rhythm, style, and sound. Students will study basic tap steps and combinations with a focus on developing proper tap technique and producing clear tap sounds. Students will develop co-ordination and rhythmic ability. (Our tap classes are combined with jazz for all levels, as both styles compliment each others' skills).
Considered the foundation of all technical dance styles. Classes emphasize technique and proper body alignment, as well as flexibility, strength, grace, coordination, musicality and performance quality. Students also study ballet terminology and history. (Pointe classes available for advanced students who are of age.)
Our contemporary classes use a combination of both modern dance technique and movement associated with the variety of styles considered contemporary and lyrical. These styles utilize ballet and jazz techniques and focus on portraying the mood of the music.
(Concurrent enrollment in ballet or Tap/Jazz is required.)
A style of dance that focuses on isolations and improvement of agility. Jazz incorporates ballet technique such as turns and various progressions such as grand jete (leaps), and grand battement (kicks). Concurrent enrollment in a ballet class is highly recommended. (Our jazz classes are combined with tap for all levels, as both styles compliment each others' skills)

A chance for very young students to develop better coordination, balance, and classroom etiquette. Children will be introduced to the basics of ballet and tap including but not limited to positions of the feet, various stretches, basic tap steps, and appropriate body alignment in a fun environment.
